LENGTH : 4-hours OBJECTIVE : Meditation is where yoga began, and where it often returns. Yet, what IS meditation? Drop in to an embodied meditation experience that emphasizes movement as much as stillness. In the Craft we practice fluency with moment-to-moment presence, so meditation isn’t just a seated experience. OUTCOME : In this lecture, students begin to develop a meditative waking state through learning to incorporate micro-meditations throughout the day so meditation is a part of every-day life. Students will take their meditation practice, and learn and apply techniques to guide others into a space of expansive awareness, flow, and peace.

LENGTH : 2-hours The Ritual is how we put the philosophy to practice. The Ritual is an embodied experience that merges ancient yoga traditions with somatic exploration, energetic anatomy, the timeless wisdom of nature, and nondual tantric philosophy. This is a healing practice of whole-body listening, contemplation, and self-realization. Through pranayama, mantra, meditation, movement, asana and group discussion, we co-create a brave space for awakening. We emerge from this Ritual with profound self-insight and seed thoughts that will sprout in the weeks, months, or years that follow.
