It feels like an awakening

I wasn’t expecting the amount of self-work and personal growth I would have during this training.

I don’t have a lot of time or resources in my daily life that allow me to think about the ideas that we covered and shared and really marinated. Many people in my life told me they see positive changes in me since I started, and it’s amazing to hear and know that I’ve been able to implement so much of what I’ve learned.

Opening my mind to Eastern philosophy allowed me to see how it resonates so much more with me than what our society here offers (very little spirituality aside from organized religion, focus on material things and acquiring more, social status, career growth).

I’ve been exposed to a way to live life that is more satisfying and authentic, and I hadn’t really experienced that before. It has felt like an awakening to live life in a way that I want rather than how I’ve been told.

I had glimpses over the years of this, but The Craft put words and ideas to it and wove it together into a narrative that makes sense. I’m so grateful to have taken the plunge and done this- regardless of the actual yoga I will or won’t teach, it’s been a life-changing time.
